Gunsmithing new contour for a fluted barrel

I have a 6xc with an m40 contour with heavy flutes. I would like to have it re-contoured to a rem varmit. Is it possible to contour a barrel with flutes? If so, who would you recommend?

It is possible as I just finished contouring my personal barrel. Makes for some exciting machining. I would check with the barrel maker and see if they can help you out.
