I just took the new build out the range this am and I wanted to post some positive things about Craddock Precision. I went with a semi lower cost build but it all turned out amazing!
The upper and handguard are the Aero Atlas-one and the lower is also an Aero.
I used a Daniel Defense LPK and the Geissele two stage SSA-E trigger.
The barrel is a Mike Rock 14.5" with a pinned and welded Aero muzzle brake. Epsilon
First, I can say it is just an awesome looking rifle and the fit and finish on the Aero is actually top notch and math each other perfectly. Craddock did not charge much at all to assemble the upper and pin/weld the brake. It may be the smoothest shooting AR I have ever fired, and I have shot alot of variations!
It has a mid-length gas system and I used the Geissele spring and their buffer. The BCG is the Sharps Rifle co Extreme BCG
What I liked is it is not ammo picky! Everything I shoot through it was under 1 inch at a 100 yds with a cheapy Primary Arms 1-6 scope!
The Federal 77 grn 5.56 load (their 262 version) shoot just over 1/2 inch and so did the Black Hills 5.56 77 gr.
Hor. T2 was also right around .6-.7"
What else was nice is everything virtually had the same POI. I think if I had a higher power scope and loaded up some handloads it will easily be a 1/2" gun!
I like it so much I ordered all the parts today for another and I am going to have him build me a 16" version with a Geissele Mk14 rail.
