My wife bought me a Defiance Deviant action for Christmas. I got it early so o began the build process about a month ago.

    Specs:
    Defiance Deviant Tactical (nitrided)
    25" Criterion 6.5 Creedmoor prefit
    Zermatt Arms (Bighorn) barrel nut
    Grayboe Renegade stock
    Grayboe M5 bottom metal
Bix'n Andy Tacsport 2 stage trigger

I bought the stock used and it needed quite a bit of work to make it right by my standards. The bolt handle cutout, ejection port cutout, and bolt release were all completely filled in and redone. The action inlet was opened up to sit down on the pillars properly and bedded and I also added texture and painted the stock myself. The bottom metal was also bedded because it fit a bit loose.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

I like it a lot. I can only compare it to Harris and there really is no comparison. The TBAC is way more stable than than Harris, and the cant lock holds firm without loosening.

I've been using an Atlas for 4-5 years now. I love the back and forth slop and being able to load it easily, but the cant/pan wheel coming loose so often is infuriating. Have you tried the leg extensions or different feet with it?
