So I need to order new dies for like 5 calibers .

I am thinking about the Forster Ultra Seater + the Forster FL Sizer. Comes out to around $130 for the set for each.

How much am I really losing by not going with a Bushing sizing die? I figure I could always swap them out down the road, but this is going to save me a few hundred I may never even miss, not to mention having to screw with the bushings.

I can get the RCBS Gold Metal Die set for around $160 each but really don't know if I need that. I hear the Forster Ultra Seater is the way to go.

Thanks,

Provided they make them in your cartridges, Hornady match dies are where it’s at. Even with a bushing you’re right at $100. The sizer is a micrometer/sliding sleeve type. Despite the cost, they’re top shelf dies. Internal finish is right there with custom dies. Night and day better than Redding imo.

Ask forster customer support if they will provide you the standard neck diameters before you order. You might find that they are exactly what you would want without a bushing.
And other distributors have them cheaper than direct and you could save a good amount over forster direct plus honed neck spec. My forster dasher die was 30 bucks and my micro seater was 70 from optics planet on a sale.
