Thinking of putting together a plinker without breaking the bank and keeping it under $750 OTD .Here is what Im considering.
DPMS stripped lower in .223/5.56. Include a parts kit from DPMS.Upgraded OD GREEN UTG 6-position stock, OD GREEN UTG Tactical Grip-(is UTG what DPMS uses on their AP4 carbine?)
Also would add the DPMS Lo-Pro Classic upper 16" bull barrel flat top (223/5.56.)
I would mostly shoot it off the bench or prone on a bi-pod and might mount a Leupold 6-18 for giggles.I have never owned a collaspable stock before and was wondering how much it might affect accuracy, if any, due to any wobble. This rifle could be had for about $750 max and is within my budget. What could I expect for accuracy with this set up? Thanks
PS: Who has the best price on DPMS uppers?
