New DTA vs lightly used MRAD

It seems that a new DTA is going for a little more than a slightly used MRAD. Is one better than another or is just a coin flip?
I got behind DTA once and played with it at Shot. Never had a chance to handle MRAD yet.

I absolutely love my DT, lots of guns in my safe have come and gone, but the DT stays. It’s a very versatile rifle, I usually run a Bartlien 22.25” 6.5 barrel in mine and I use it for all types of shooting. Switching barrels is a breeze and takes less than 1 minute. I think you’ll love it and if you don’t you'll have a decent return on your investment.

I’ve been behind an MRAD before, it’s a nice rifle. It didn’t wow me like an AI does, I didn’t think it was as versatile as my DT. It shot well, it also provided him a more traditional bolt manipulation, so if that’s what you need MRAD would be an obvious choice. That said I don’t think the DT is difficult to get familiar with.

I hope this helps, you’ll find a lot of threads like this if you do some searching. My biased vote goes to Desert Tech, another plus is the outstanding warranty they’ve provided me and some of my buddies who own DT. I had wearable part fail after years of ownership and call them up and they warranty replace the part, I’ve been blown away.
