Hey everyone, for those of you who are New Englanders, I was wondering if anybody knows the 2012 schedule for competitions around here. I know Reading Mass, Nashua N.H. and Maine have good competitions but nobody has the 2012 schedules up yet. Im really interested in Reading Highpower Range because they do Tuesday 600 yard practice (at least last year). I live in central CT and am willing to travel to NY also if its worth it. Im new to competition shooting and trying to link up with local shooters. If anyone is close by, please let me know. Im at Blue Trails regularly

Re: New England Competitions

If you are interested in HP there is a club I go to during the winter, East Windsor sportsmen club, that has matches last Sunday of the month. Low key and fun to shoot, even better now since they have real pits. Also Bell city (Southington) does a couple of winter matches, I do not have any dates for those yet.

Good Luck!

Re: New England Competitions

The ranges are all 200 yards unfortunately, the only places somewhat nearby to get 600 are Reading MA and Nassua NH. The East Windsor match fee is $10.00(includes coffee and bagels), I am not sure on Bell city, under $20.00 I am sure.

Re: New England Competitions

All the HP ranges are open to the public to shoot there matches, I am hoping to make the match the end of this month the 29th at East Windsor. When I know for sure that I am going I will let you know so we can hook up.

Re: New England Competitions

Think I looked into Ledyard, its private isnt it? I would need a sponsor and all that. Mike, if you do go and the weather is good, let me know cause I would like to join you. I have been fixing up my old Savage and I hope its sighted in by then. At least a 200 yard dope isnt to hard to get before, not like 1000. I'd love to go

Re: New England Competitions

If you wanted to join I could get you an application. Both Mike and I are members and can meet you out there sometime so you can check it out. It's only like $150 a year if I remember correctly.
