My name is Jared Burton and I want to thank you guys for having me. My handle on here is to pay homage and respect to the great Marine Corps sniper that passed away in 1999 but with a humorous twist. I currently live just outside of Boulder but have spent many years in Fort Collins. I co-own a firearms business here with my good friend and our team shooter is a member of this site. Been checking the site out for a while now and decided to join. Currently building a 6.5x47 Lapua and a few others. There is a fairly new range here that is still being built but open.
Short rifle range goes to 600 with pallets and some steel every 100m. from 200 out. with benches and overhead cover.
Long range has 3 benches and steel at 600, 800, and 1000. Out in the wind and no cover. Trap too on some weekends, pistol always open and has overhead cover.
A long drive and kind of Podunk for you but we like it that way. On week days you will likely be the only one there.
$10 daily fee with drop box on the honor system and probably no one will check you if you just want to give it a try.
