No, what is that place? I usually shoot at Granby bow

Sheepdog Warrior is a great range with steel out to 1000 yds. It is a few minutes off exit 20 of the New York Thruway (Saugerties), but worth the drive for me. I live in Fairfield county. I used to be a member of Granby bow before they had problems with their 1000 yd range.

Sounds great, I’ll definitely check it out. Yea they still are having issues with the 1000 yard.

Sheepdog warrior was the old catskill game farm. When they where clearing the place, I hauled logs out of there. I’m glad it never turned in to a housing development like most people do when they sell property.

Check out their website. Very friendly people running it and facilities are basically new. Targets always kept painted. Sometimes see deer and even bear wandering around the targets. Amazing place.

FYI. “Reservations” are required now due to covid but I have never been told no when I called, even on weekends.
