Thanks for having me! I'm from the Springfield, IL area. 50 years old. Grew up in this area. Longtime hunter and firearm enthusiast. Grew up on a farm. Both my mother and mother in law have small farms in the area, so I have plenty of hunting and shooting ground. I've been competing in USPSA action pistol competition for about 10 years. But my knowledge base of shooting anything past a couple hundred yards is limited. My brother in law has been into long range rifle shooting for several years, and he has stoked my interest in it. I've got bolt action rifles in 6.5 creedmoor, 7mm, and .308 win mag, as well as AR rifles in .223 wylde, .204 ruger, .308 win mag and 6.5 creedmoor. Right now I only load ammo for pistol competition (9mm, .40s&w, and .45acp), but will attempt some loads for rifle this summer. This forum seemed like the place to be to increase my knowledge.
