Hello everyone...new member here! My name is Bobby and after a 25 year hiatus I decided to get back into rifle shooting. I shot allot of open sight 308 in my early 20s at NAS Oceana and Quantico. Now in my 50s I Got the bug to try and put some rounds down range and dip my toes into PRS. I have already learned so much from the Hide and only scratched the surface. the main PRS matches us VA folks shoot are:
Virginia Precision Rifle Club (hosted at Virignia International Raceway in Alton, VA)
Pigg River Precision (Rocky Mount, Virginia)
Frontline Defense (Rocky Mount, NC)
Peacemaker in West Virginia doesn't get much action unless there is a two day match there. But they do have some club matches.
MDPRS series has a couple matches that aren't too bad of a drive depending where you live. The WVA/MD matches are part of the North East Region, and the other ones I mentioned are part of the South East Region.
VPRC/Pigg/Frontline all host one-day club matches AND two-day national level matches.
VPRC two day is this weekend!
