Got mine the other day and I must say it is now my favorite sling hands down. I was using something similar but not like this. This one is a winner folks.

We really wanted a sling that filled a lot of gaps of other slings. One of the Biggest complaints we heard was about having anything hanging off the sling.A pull or release that is hanging from a sling can only get in the way. If you have to do mag change or transition if there's hanging parts they can possilbly get in the way and slow or interfer with that change.With our adjustment feature being all in one there is no hanging parts. Another big complaint was that a lot of slings are just to thin. We have seen slings that are 1" digging into clients necks and not provide support for the rifle. The rifles we are using don't seem to be getting any lighter. With adding lights,lasers,optics,suppressor and mag what was once a light rifle is getting heavy. Those thin slings just don't provide enough support. We went with 1.5" for ours. Also we made with a bungee rear end. That bungee does a bunch of things that other slings just won't do. First it gives the shooter the ability to carry the rifle tight againts thier body for movement or a CAS situation and still be able to shoulder the rifle without having to loosen their sling .Also the bungee acts like a shock absorber when moving or running and reduces felt weight. These are just a few of the added benifets of our new sling.

How tight is the adjustment on this sling vs say, a VTAC sling? From the video, it didn't look quite as smooth to change the length. Also, is the hardware where the adjustment loop is made of metal or plastic? Thanks.

It tightems down as tight as the VTAC or any other similar sling. The loop works smoothly once you use it a few times. When it's brand new out of the box the material is a little stiff but run the loop a few times and the nylon gets supple and adjustments are quick and easy. The adjusters are metal on mine.

Got my carbine sling in. This thing is an EXTREMELY well built sling, best made sling I've ever seen. Looks right at home next to my precision rifle sling. Used the precision rifle sling to secure us a second place finish at the Gap Pro/Am this weekend. It was extremely helpful for the unstable stages.

Just wanted to give a little update. Here is a Pic of the new packaging for the The the Brick and Mortar stores and dealers. Also the second pic is of the single point attachment. We use 1.5" nylon for our sling and had to have a piece made. Now you will have the option of a 2 point to single point if you choose.

We have been getting lots of requests for when the Single Point adapter would be ready and we are happy to announce that it is. Now the FTW Carbine Sling is now a 2-1 Carbine Sling. With this addition you will be able to seemlessly go from 2 point sling to slingle point. With our Carbine slings Bungee Tail and single point attachment you will now have on of the most adaptable Carbine Slings on the market today. We are also carrying a QD End Plate for AR rifles. Our Carbine Sling has no hanging parts to foul up reloads or transitions and simple 1 pull size adjustments. With the Bungee rear end no matter how tight you have the sling pulled to your body you will always be able to get the rifle shouldered to fire without having to adjust the lenght. The width of the sling and the Bungee also keeps it from digging into your neck for a more comfortable wear.

The lack of extra webbing dangling around when tightened up is a big selling point on this, at least to me anyway... in addition to the wide webbing.
