just talking with the guys about that today, Yamaha needs to do some refresh with their 2 strokes. Would love to see them step up the pressure, like they are doing the 4 strokes.
the 4 stroke is FI also. this is a trail bike the other is a MX bike that has a 18" tire, 6 speed vs 5 peed.

Sure do love KTM they are hard to beat, just sold my 250 XC to a good friend and am looking at getting a Husqvarna TE300i to test and compare to the KTM 300 XC TPI, I'm sure they'll be damn near the same. Not sure if I'm going to miss the power band or not, I'm sure it'll come with time to transition over.
A KTM is legitimately the only dirt bike I've ever rode that truly scared the shit out of me. No thanks! My bitch boy self is sticking with my CR125.

If you twist the throttle on a 300 and ever think you need more you are crazy. I sold my 300xc just didn’t have time to ride it but I would definitely buy another. It is the perfect bike if you want to be lazy just stick it in 3rd and forget about it, if you want nuts it has that 2

Well it's only upside down for a second or two when I am doing hooligan flips. Hard to judge from those.
I have a 4 stroke 450 xcf also but that is for desert racing. The two stroke is for the right technical stuff. Plus I love the hit from the two stroke. It is just different.
Your accountant must be better than ours. I got stuck with this lame ass 2019 ford super duty 4x4 poverty package with rear locker. But I feel like Jan 2019 is going to be better.

I am not in real riding shape, can stand to lose 30 pounds, but this not smoking has upped my endurance, but still have a ways to go. This March I start getting track days in with my S1000RR., trying to lose weight to prep for that. I am a B rider in TORCS racing on the dirt bike, will move up to A sometimes this year, the money I sav on food and ice cream will go toward ammo purchases.
Just find one of these and install a light kit and trick DMV. They are pure adrenaline pumps in stock form with proper geometry.
Any of the KTM’s that are in the EXC line can be plated. At least in Florida. Honda also has the CRF450L that can be plated.
