New Gun Safe

Well this is my first post as I have reading in the shadows for a couple of months and have learned a lot about AR10"s. Here it goes I recieved a new Liberty safe for Xmas and will put in the basement on a wooden base 2 inchs off the floor. For humidty control what is the best a electric rod or a canister to absorb moisture? Temp in summer 65-70f,55%-60% humity winter temp60f,45% - 55% humidty.

where did you purchase that? I have two goldenrods - but I know they aren't cutting it because I still have to supplement with dessicant.

I bought mine at Cabelas, but I saw some on the shelf at Academy Sports today.

Another cheap trick: keep a small row of xmas lights inside your safe plugged in. The lights do a good job of killing the moisture.
