I'm the new guy. I'm shooting scoped stuff from .225 to .30-06 & peep sights on the .45-70. Our range goes out to 600 yards. I've been reading a bunch of good info on here. Thanks for having me.

Welcome neighbor from upstate SC. Just out of curiosity, where do you get to 600? I'm wondering if it would be worth the drive.

Thank you. Our club is off I-95 near the Virginia border. We bought a neighboring tract and expanded from 300 to 600 this year. We haven't built the road yet, so we can only drive to 300, then walk to 4, 5 & 600. Currently we don't have frames for paper targets beyond 300.

There's a range in Warren county that goes to 1,000 yards. That one is run as a business. Some of our members are members there as well. I may think about that if I ever get to the point that I'm bored with the 3" steel at 600. Lol
