Old guy here. I've been shooting for many decades, mostly hunting and just plinking but want to try my hand at shooting a bit further out than I have in the past. Recently put together a budget rifle, on a winchester action, 6mm CM, Krieger 1x8 twist barrel. At this time I don't have the $$ for a stock upgrade so the action is bedded into a wooden stock. Scope is a 10x SWFA SS. I'm not going to compete with this set up but want to try get get out beyond 500-600 yards and also use it from time to time to hunt coyotes. I probably won't post much except for questions. I'm here to read and learn.
