Police firearms instructor getting into long range shooting. I'd like to hopefully get my basic sniper cert soon.
Picked this up locally on black Friday: Sig Sauer 716i Tread in 7.62x51, mounted a Sig Sauer Whiskey 4 4-12x44mm.
Waiting on a bipod to show up. Maybe not the best long range setup with only a 16" barrel but the longest range I have near me is 600 yards so I'm hoping to hit a steel silhouette at that range. We'll see I guess. Put some cheap M80 ball through it so far, it's a blast to shoot!
