New guy from NH

l‘ve been thinking about precision rifle shooting since my attempt at Service Rifle shooting some years back. Time, inflexible work and family got in the way so I had to stop. Over the past few years I’ve slowly started to dip my finger in the water and recently moved from the 100 yard line to 600 yard gongs using the ballistic tables on a box of factory Federal GMM 308. It was a beautiful thing when I was able to hit the steel after calculating the come ups for my ammo/reticle. Needless to say I’m hooked. I’ve read a bunch of posts here over the last few years but now I’m ready to dive in.

Welcome! Take a class as soon as you can. You'll learn in 3 days more than most can manage on their own in years. Lowlights classes are awesome. Grab his book too.

Thanks for the advice. Got the book and already looking into a course for next spring.
