I am new to long range shooting, as in the gun building and hand loading, but I have hunted for 23 years and counting now. I found this page and have read a lot of the forums and what not to learn more about it. Right now I just have a ruger 270 that I deer hunt with but have done some long range killing in New Mexico for mule deer 600 to 1000 yards with a Remington 700 BDL in 300 weatherby. But my accuracy has never been what I wanted it to be I have a really bad tendency of pulling my shots to the right and tend to flinch, but this has gotten better by putting a new timney trigger set at 2.5lbs. But I like reading about the hand loads in 6.5 creedmoor and learning what I can from the forum. I thinking about buy a new savage tactical in 6.5 with the accu-system and putting an Athlon scope on it in mils and start with this to get more practice before I invest a bunch in a gun and equipment all at once. So I am excited to learn more from ya'll and chip in when can. Any information is always appreciated. Thanks
