Hi there Sniper's Hide, long time listener first time caller. lol Anyway a few of my friends who shoot comps and some guys from the very popular rifle club I belong to suggested I get on here for education and information. Look forward to both.

My first question to the Hide is this. I'm shooting a .308 win with 168s, I've had good luck out to 640yds but past that the wind is killing me. I heard 175s or even 155s would be best for me to buck the wind and get out to 1000yds with accuracy. Is that true???

Also, I am reloading with 4064, the data books lead me to believe the 175s would be really slow.

Also what about 155s for ranges up to 1000yds????

Looking forward to any info that will get me out there.
