New guy here. Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

I have a gun that I dont know that much about and was wondering someone might have some info.
It's a Remington 40-XB 30/06 with a stainless barrel and iron sights with a very nice wood stock.

I assume you have a 30.06 single shot solid bottom action? I would say 1000.00. Least ways that is what I will take for mine which is a 30/338 Mag. I think they sell for about 1300 now but I doubt 30.06 is still available.

You guys are all nuts! 30/06 is almost an obsolete caliber that has been surpassed by many new rounds...nobody wants them things.Wood stocks are falling out of favor unless it's something sold in Wal-mart, and iron sights? WTF are those!
I'll give you $200 'cuz I collect old, useless rifles....
