7mm WSM, Savage 11 w/accu trigger and medium heavy barrel, topped with a Nikon buckmasters 4.5-14x44 side focus BDC reticle.
Borrowed this rifle last fall and took a nice buck with it only to find out that made only 8 rounds through the tube. Gave him $500 for it today as is.

Re: New horse in the stable

Now to start planning a new stock for it. Thinking the same I put on my Savage 10FP-LE1. Richards Microfit Tack Driver with thumb hole, laminated. Pillar and bed and play with it until I can afford a new barrel. (in a year or 2). Bought more for a hunting rifle I am planning for moose. A heavy 7mm partition or ballistic tip right in the boiler should put one down pretty quick. For now its time to work up a load for it as it is.
