I know there's a few people with these scopes on rifles now, and I'm in the immediate market to buy - I was curious - do people see the March 1-10x24 as a viable replacement for the Vortex 1-10? The reticle designs I've seen don't show a true tree, with the stadia lines being a fixed length, so I'm curious how usable it is when holding for windage (reasonable wind values, not 40mph) at distance. This is for a 6mm ARC build, so will be shot out to 1000 yards. Obviously the Razor has this covered. The March has less weight and parallax adjustment available, which I see as a positive, but I'm unsure about the reticle, the red dot brightness, and the usability as a red-dot fill-in as the Vortex does relatively admirably. I also can't stand the color of Razors, but I'm willing to overlook that if it's the better optic.
What are people with hands-on time of both optics opinions on the March vs. the Vortex for an AR15 in a longer-range cartridge like 6mm ARC/6.5mm Grendel/224V/etc? Is the reticle/dot up to the task? I really appreciate any early information available, since I don't have the opportunity to demo either, and definitely need to get an order in. This will be both for target out to 1000 as well as hunting pigs and the like, hence the desire for a LPVO.
