New guy here making my first post. Just getting back into shooting after a long hiatus since high school. Have begun competing in the local 100 yd rim fire matches and am heading toward the center fire rabbit hole. Local matches are at 300 yd which isn't far for you 1000 yd guys but seems like a fun step up to me.

Looking forward to the journey, seems like there's a lot of good information here on the hide.

As you start to get comfortable with centerfire, look into Granby. They frequently host PRS matches, and have a couple introductory “matches” that don’t count for anything a couple times a year.
