I am glad to have been added and I look forward to getting a lot of information out of this forum.

I'm new to the long range shooting world and bolt guns but have been shooting for around 15 years. Most of my experience is with handguns and the AR platform but I have shot lever actions and bolt actions before, just never owned any.

I have a membership at the Peidmont Handgunners Association. I'm in Winston Salem and that was the closest outdoor range that was available. I really enjoy shooting out there. Most days its just me and maybe one other person on the rifle line. They have 50-60 yard bays for competition that members can use on non-comp days for "private" use and I really like that.
