South OC also. I shoot with Santa Margarita Gun Club on MCB Camp Pendleton. Have to be a member if you're a civ and jump through some hoops but its OK. Membership also give you access to the base MCCS recreational range which goes out to 1K meters.

Pala is another range, they host PRS matches with San Diego Precision Rifle club:
