Currently in central SC and enjoy most outdoor activities. Been all over this great Country and served in the Navy. Been around hunting, shooting and reloading all my life. Just got a Bergara Ridge in 300 WM with a muzzle brake (it shoots about 1/2 MOA currently) and have permission to hunt a farm property (soy beans) with hogs and deer that can have shots a tad over 600 yards. Signed up to learn about 1000 yard shooting and optics, then see if I can take my new knowledge and learn to shoot long range. My goal is to gain enough knowledge and long range skill to confidently, and ethically, take 600 yard shots or longer at game. Any and all advice and tips appreciated.
