Hi everyone. I'm new to LR shooting as well as being new to TX since I just moved here from Connecticut. I discovered a range / club near where I live that has a 1000 yard range and after reaching my AR out to about 400 I'm looking to learn long-distance shooting. Not much else about me is special, family man and former squid. I was in small boats which really got me into shooting in general since boat crews get behind small arms far more often than the average swabbie.
Starting my LR journey with a left-handed Tikka in .308. My goal is to hunt with it (sub 300 yards on land I own) and ring steel up to 1000. Thanks for having this helpful forum.
