New member intro

New guy from TX. Army NG sniper for a few years. Know just enough to realize that I have a lot to learn. Looking to get into civilian competitive shooting to improve my craft and help my younger guys. Built a 6.5 gas gun but am looking forward to adding a bolt gun to the collection.

Excellent perspective on life. I'm 57 and I feel this way much more than I did when I was 56, 55, 45, 35, 25, etc.

This is, in my opinion, the best gun forum on the Internet.

First, it puts up with me with all my faults and failings.
Second, jam packed with tons of people who know what they are talking about.
Third, you can avoid the typical "drama" of gun forums by sticking to gun discussions.
Fourth, we have the "Bear Pit" and "Maggies" for anything else you feel like honking off about.
Fifth, it is a great place to sell gun related gear.
