Picked up a Remington AAC-SD in .308 a few weeks ago. Started out life as a basic 700 in .308. After doing alot of research and bouncing back and forth between Leupold mark 4s and the Nxs Night Forces, I ended up with a Night Force NXS 5.5-22x56. I already had a Harris bipod so I threw that on as well.

Went and shot it with some very nice Lake City match ammo and got decent results, but found myself lifting up to get a proper cheek weld. I had noticed that with a rest, or bipod, the forend flexed and touched the barrel affecting accuracy. I had previously read about this issue and planned on replacing the stock anyway... so, after much research about, Bell and Carlsons, McMillans who happen to be a few miles from my house, Mcree, Hp, JAE stocks, etc. I decided my best fit for what I wanted out of the stock, pricing, looks, intended use, etc. would be the accuracy international AICS 1.5 in FDE! I am so excited to shoot it this weekend! It looks great, has a DBM (which i forgot to put in after the install and isnt in the pictures), is self bedding, has the adjustable cheek weld and butt plate, etc.
last thing I need to get is the AAC 762sdn-6 which should be at my lgs here shortly, then the 6 month wait, lol. Anyway, here she is! Great forum BTW! It has been very helpful in choosing my modifications!
