Hello.
A friend and current active member of this forum recommended I join due to my interest in the art of long range shooting. Currently the extent of my long shooting is 500 yards in the Marine Corps (M16) and 200 yards as a civilian using a recently purchased Walmart Savage 6.5CM rifle with a Bushnell scope. I am taking the plunge into the sport/art and have tons of questions to ask and research to do in order to be sure I get the correct gear (rifle and scope to name only 2 items I need). This forum appears to be great place to find both via active members and forum vendors. As I have mentioned I served with the Marine Corps and currently I work as a controls technician.

I am looking forward to the wealth of knowledge offered on this forum and hope to someday be a contributor to the knowledge offered.

Welcome Barryd, Frank does a great job getting you up through the learning curve, on the online training, which i'm still working on. Only been here for about 5 months , i've had nothing but a positive experience here so far.

Thanks Mountainbum. Glad your experience here has been positive, I am hoping for the same. I have not checked out the online training yet.
