Hello!
let me introduce myself, i'm a 62 Y O semi retired woodworker, i have my own woodshop which is idle most of the time which gives me a lot of time to follow my passion " guns, gunsmithing, bow hunting, spending time with my family & learning all i can about living off the land".
i have been into guns as long as i can remember, 1911's, ar15's mostly. i am getting into long range shooting. my son & i want to get a 50 bmg or 408 chey tac but the cost of ammo for the chey tac is crazy! i reload & was wondering if the 408 could be resized from another cartrige & would i need a larger press to load 408. (i have an old lyman single stage). i know i would need 1 for the 50. it looks likie the 50 would be cheaper to shoot but i like the balistics of the 408.
we have been looking at the Noreen ULR rifles. does anyone have any experience with these rifles or can anyone make any suggestions?
thanks for any help;
