So the new version has the bungie attachments for ar and similar platforms. Do think it will affect accuracy or "barrel harmonics" on a bolt gun if the bungies are attached over the barrel, or should you just stick ( hee hee ) with the Velcro?

The design is meant to cover the options of a Picatinny rail system and a regular bolt gun. There is NO bungee. It is 550 cord. You could try it, but I would recommend going with the tried and true adhesive velcro system. There has yet to be a complaint, and it works great. The only issue would be if the Skidplate is too big and is coming up over the sides of the stock. In that case the velcro will not align with the stock.
Please feel free to call at any time regarding any questions of mounting and use.

gotcha, just was wondering if there was any problems with doing both, so it doesn't move. You see rifles with camo and burlap tied to the barrel and it doesn't seem to affect anything.... but everyone gets all a twitter if anything is touching the barrel and all that.....
Beepy,
I understand your concern, however, rest assured, it will NOT move!
As far as the affecting the harmonics, I would say as long as you have consistently kept it tight, and then zero, you should be fine.
There is only one way to tell, and that will have to do with testing and checking consistency.
Redhooker,
Your right, and I appreciate the heads up. There have been delays, and it is finally getting up to speed in 10 days to completion. Should be very good!
