Stripper grade fishnet pantyhose over black stock, coated
woodland tan, remove hose and place gap templates where
desired, painted od green. Then I freehanded the black fading
around outside edge of templates.
Bulldog arms for about half of them. Ran out and made the rest
out of the extra non-cut material on the end of the sheet.
Yes, I used a Paasche 2 stage airbrush and Duracoat.
Looks good. I have a pattern running in my head with larger digital chunks with the fade around them. I played with an old stock and it looked like the outer skin was peeling off of a digital pattern. Now all I need is a rifle back from the smith so I can put it all together.
Your work inspired this on my .22 trainer. Its a Remington 581 on a blank I made from scratch.
