I love this thing. MOA at 100 with Eley Target Rifle. I'll get some pics with its big brother when I get it back this weekend.

Looks good. Did you actually manage to convert that Rem722-based single-shot 40X into a magazine-fed repeater?

I'll have to post photos of mine soon in its forest camouflage McMillan HTG stock with Williams one-piece steel bottom metal; it closely matches both my M40A1s...

Sorry guys, not a repeater... still a lowly single shot.

B. Melick, it turned out to be the 700 Action so no modification required!

I can already do a range report, but without pictures it didn't happen!!

a side note NOT intended to hijack this thread, what rimfire bolt action simulates a full size rifle action and can be built into a tactical training rifle for inside shooting? I've seen the Sako Quad, is that as close as it gets?

From the bolt handle, I thought it was a Rem722 action, so good to hear you didn't have to modify.

Where do you shoot in the DFW area?

RANGER look at stilled or skunkworks the are or are making a .22 action.

I shoot at Elm Fork. They don't normally allow .22s, but I help out on the range and they know it shoots. If anyone asks, it is a "match rifle" and I shoot competition (which I don't) LOL!

I generally try to avoid Elm Fork, but maybe I'll come join you sometime just to compare Rem40XBs...
