Suffice to say that I’m interested but I have a bit of sticker shock on the price mentioned. More at the above link.

$1900 is actually less than I expected. Not my thing so I wouldn't touch it at that price. I am sure plenty out there would pay that to have a new production Garand to abuse rather than risk further wear on their original rifles.
