So, I am starting my next bolt gun this week. I sent off a model 70 action to X-caliber to have them build a .375 Reaper with a 16" 1:8 barrel, threaded for a Form 1 titanium can sleeved with ZTE Carbon Fiber. It is a long action so I should be able to run 400 grain subs in a mag. This will be my NV hunting bolt rig, probably used primarily with a clip-on. At this point, I think I will mount a USO 1.8-10 on it. The only thing I have not decided on is the stock. I really wanted to drop it in an XLR Carbon, but they don't seem to have a M70 long action chasis. What do you guys think as far as stocks go? I should have the barreled action back in a few weeks so I'll update with pics STAT.
