New to long range shooting, but I've been shooting small holes in paper with bolt action rifles for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until recently though that I realized there were several rifles that I owned that I could shoot better than. So down the rabbit hole I went.
I'm a big fan of the Bergara Rifles, working on getting my hands on a fourth one here soon.
I have access to a 1,000 yards of steel relatively nearby and am quite good at Kentucky windage. (Doping without the math?)

My intents with membership here are to get some questions answered, meet individuals that I can learn from, (and buy beer with) and to grow individually.
I'm a bit of a social butterfly in person, and am incredibly happy to learn from anybody. Knowledge is power.

If you're aware of anyone north of Denver that is willing to teach a young man a few things, I would appreciate the DM. I can say with honesty and humility that I could read this information on this website for a hundred years and not learn nearly as much as I could in a few hours with a good teacher.

How far north of Denver? You might want to take a look at the web site for the Colorado Rifle Club. When you look at the calendar of events they list a point of contact for each match that you may have an interest in. The one contact I use to shoot with from Longmont is Jim Brummerstedt. He's on face book and once was the match director for 1000BR, I think he was shooting a .338.

Thank you for the heads up!
