I just recently was gifted a Rem 700 LR 300 win mag. I had just about lost all hope in Remington in the last few years. Rifle came in the standard B&C stock with the 1-10 twist barrel. I have worked up a load of Re22 with 208 Amax and this rifle is a hammer. Printing 1/2-3/4 moa @100 and shooting nice groups out to 750+ yards. Ditching the factory trigger soon and expecting great things before I wear it out and turning it into a 300prc.
Yes, pleasantly surprised and felt it was worth sharing!

Vargmat, ordered some today. Rifle is really living up to my expectations! I'm hoping for another 1 mile rifle like my last 300 was.

I bought a Rem 700 Police in .300 WM a few years back. Remington does take a lot of shit for their barrels but the one I got shot really good. I took it out to 1090 meters which is the furthest I have ever shot. Still have that rifle, but it has been rebuilt to recemble a Mk13 mod5. I keep it on a steady diet of 220 grain Scenar L, but will get more Hornady once I run out of them.
