Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and wanted to say hello and ask a question or two. I am getting back into shooting long range and have decided to buy a Ram SPS Tactical. I'm thinking 223 but may be swayed toward a 308, we'll see. I live in Tennessee and wondered if there are any long range shooters around these parts? Perhaps I should say, organized long range shooters. I have always been a lone wolf shooter, but would like to know of any local shoots around. Thanks in advance for any information.

Congratulations to the Hide. You will fine lots of knowledge with these guys. Just sit back and relax and have fun. I would go with the 308 cal. if you are starting back. Just a personal preference.
