New Rifle

I have been reading this site for about 2 years finely got a start for my long range rifle.
I picked up a Remington 700 ADL in 30-06 with a cheap scope and rings.
now I can start building what I want, I'll try to get pics up later today.

Why didn't you just buy the rifle without "cheap scope and rings"? What are you trying to build?

Because it came as a package for $400 used, the rifle is in really good shape. I want to build a hunting/800 yard gun I'm going to bed the stock, it needs trigger work some one has messed with the trigger it has a lot of creep and is kinda gritty and doesn't let off at the same point every time, but it is really light pull

Nice snag for 400 bucks. Now the crack like addiction starts. Do you already have a smith and parts picked out for the build?

All I'm going to do for now is bed the stock get a bushnell 4200 6-24 or 4-16 can't make up my mind yet, then I'll go from there.
