hey been lurking around here for the last year and just picked up my first bolt action 308. It is a sps tactical aac-sd that I picked up for 600 bucks. the guy i bought it from bought it new 2 weeks ago, put 51 rounds through it, and decided he wanted to go back to shooting an ar. he added a bushnell trophy xlt 4-12 and leupold rifleman rings and 2 piece base. I added a 6-9 bipod, eagle stock pack, and a sling. all of which i took off my remington 5r 300win mag before i sold it last year. my plans for this rifle is to build it up for beanfield hunting/range shooting. i plan to add a bell&carlson tactical or light tactical stock, weaver tactical 3-15x50 ffp, seekins rings and base, bolt knob from collier rifles here in GA, and some sort of muzzle brake since it is already threaded (thinking of a vias since it did so good on my 300). is there anything that yall would suggest for this build? not bad for a 19 year old i guess. ill try to get some pics up tomorrow.
