Hunting & Fishing new scope for my rifle

i put a new scope on my Gradous 308 build...

S&B Klassik 3-12x42
#9 reticle FFP
xhairs subtend .3" @ 100, horizontal posts are 18.8" apart at 100

seems like a reticle that will allow precision shots but with posts that come close enough together to bracket game in lowlight if xhairs fade out


anyone try one of these on a hunting rig?

what do yall think

I have a 1.5-6 Zenith Flashdot on my 6.8 with the same #9 reticle..
I love it

I have 3 of these scopes with a different reticle in them. It is a great hunting scope and I've used one of them on my long range shooter to ban steel out to 1000 yards.

On my 6.5x55 Pronghorn rifle, it has accounted for several animals to as far as 487 yards. All one shot kills.

You'll enjoy it and it should serve you well.
