shout-out to ajwarrior and darnyankeeusmc for letting me know where this goes and warning me about the bear pit!

I recently purchased an Athlon ares etr 4.5-30x56mm from eurooptic and it seems to have come used? There are a few scratches and what almost look like sandpaper marks/abrasion on the zero stop as well as some white dust/powder on the turrets. Could these be tooling marks or something from the factory? My point though is this anything to be worried about? Should I try for an exchange? I understand these are small scratches/may just be dust and I'm sure I'll pick up worse dings and scratches in the field but I'm quite new to all this and was hoping for a second opinion. Thanks in advance guys!

That’s just Chinesium build quality, it’s not used.

If you want a better finish quality then spend the money for a higher quality optic.

I actually have that same scope being delivered today. I will report any findings later today.

How’s the glass look?
