Hello Sniper's Hide. I have been lurking here for a couple years now and finally decided to join. I probably won't post too much since there is just so much to learn from what is already out there in the forums. I know my next step in getting into the online training. I will say reading all the good info here has helped me on my first serious rifle build. I decided to go with a Badger M2008 in left hand with a 22" Bartlein 5R barrel in 1:11/25 twist in .308. It's at GAP right now being put together on an AICS. I know it's a spendy first rifle but my wife said I can only do this one time (as of right now) and at least with the M2008 I can do a switch barrel without too much trouble. I just need to get some time to shoot it once I get it.

Thanks again Snipers hide for getting me this far. Hopefully I can start adding some meaningful info myself soon.

Thanks for the welcome. I just got the call from GAP about three days ago that it was finished. Now I am stuck in Colorado attending the USAF NCOA so it is another six week wait until I graduate. I will post some pics when it is in my hands.
