I have a freind doing site work on this right now. My understanding is it will be a 400 yard rifle range. It will also have a pistol range, gunshop, sporting clays and instuction. I will get the name and more details as I gather info. It is located in Brookwood alabama, between Birmingham and tuscaloosa.

Good news, but we already have a good range called Brock's Gap that allows you to shoot to 750yds. There is another range being built as we speak by the CMP guys near Anniston though that is supposed to be super nice. And, word is it will have a 1000 yard range, but I have no idea the membership fees or anything associated with it.
Yes, I know about Brock's gap and heard its very nice. This new range is being started up by a former sniper as I understand. They also will sell guns, ammo, etc plus training for le and civis.
