I recently bought a new Sig 3000 (April 2014) and was disappointed the rifle did not come with a test target because it was photographed as coming with one on Gunbroker. I called the seller and he looked at the four he had in stock and they also did not have the test target. A call to Sig confirmed none of the new Sig 3000 will have the test target. The seller also removed the photo of the test target to his credit.
I have a Steiner Military 34mm tubed scope, in 3-12X50, and the rifle will shoot all day with .5 groups at 100 yards, using factory 168 Matchking Federal Match ammo. I could not ask for a better rifle. Mine did come with a yet to be used mirage band.

. I bought mine the second week of this May and mine came with a German test target. From what I've been reading, it seems some come with them and some don't. It would be interesting to find out why. I bought mine from Cabelas. I did receive the original cardboard shipping box. The shipping label is from Sig to Cabelas, but no date on the package. There is a "Safety Checked Date 4/29/14" sticker on the box that Cabelas put on it. It would seem that Sig shipped them the rifle around that date. I agree they are amazing for the price. I did not get a mirage band. That would have been cool.
