Somewhere USA
Assuming everything else on the build and the load doesn't change, will swapping the stock or chassis change the load by more than +/- 0.1gr of powder and +/- 0.010" seating depth if I'm looking for the same group size and velocity? If it matters, let's assume it's any random non-magnum short action cartridge with somewhere between approximately 20-something and 40-something grains of powder inside.

Yes, am not expecting the zero to necessarily stay the same.

But was hoping to do load development before the new stock was ready. Seems like it will work.

Assuming the barrel is free floated in the old and the new the load shouldn't move much. If the stock isn't free floated now and will be free floated in the new mounting then the charge could change, maybe a little or a lot.
