Well I finally got my 223 back from the gunsmith. I had him take my SPS 223 Tactical and punch the factory tube to Ackley. So now I have a 19" 223AI SPS Tactical.

I dropped it into a PSS stock that I had 30calsniper paint Desert Camo for me. CDI Precision bottom metal and the new AICS mags. Put in a Jewell, threaded for my suppressor, added a Super Sniper and now my training/fun gun is done.

as you can see I spend more on my guns then I do a decent camera!

You will love the 223 AI. You dont say what twist your barrel is but mine is a 1/14 and I use it on prairie dogs. 40 grainers run very close to 4000 fps. Ballistic Tips deliver messages of violent death to quite a good ways out there. I have a second Hart barrel on order, again a 1/14 with spiral fluting that should finish at about 22 inches for a second one. Thats how much I like the 223 AI!!!

his twist is a 1:9, JCH ive had good luck with the 77 SMK out of my SPS Tactical

It is a factory tube so it is a 1-9.

It is my third 223AI.

I plan on running the 69gr SMK. I have 500 of them sitting in the reloading room.

Deadly, what powder and charge are you running?

with the 69 SMK i was running 25.2 H4895 seated at 2.385 i believe. and the 77s was 23.2 Benchmark
