New style GI ar mags

I got in a shipment of the new Center Industries GI mags. These have the magpull style non tilt followers and a different spring profile. The best of both worlds I suppose. Mags that fit all makes and models and fit in all web gear but with the non tilit follower. I have never had issues with the green follower GI mags myself but here you have the latest greatest incarnation of the GI mag.

I'll be selling a limited number of these in the sale section also.

How do these differ from the anti-tilt contract mags that Brownells was making/selling in 2007/2008?

Not sure. If you have some take them apart and see what they look like. I know that as a GI contract magazine these have only been available in the last months.

Did Brownells put some of these together years ago?

Here is a thing from DOD:

Brownells Inc., Montezuma, IA, was awarded on Mar. 10, 2009, a $10,730,100 firm fixed price contract for 1,410,000 improved 30-round magazine(W52H09-09-C-0072).

IIRC, this is the second such contract Brownells has gotten, the first was several years ago 07-08ish.

I have never seen them with the follower with the guide round on the "wrong" side. This is sure to mess with some of the TTP's out there.

Not really a new item anymore, but the price is right so drive on.

I think all of the green follower magazine contracts have been called improved follower as well. I'm not a big magazine expert but I know this is definatly different from any others I've seen. It looks very Magpull inspired to me. Lol..
